After a wonderful dinner at Be Our Guest, we had plans to watch Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. Franklin needed to pick up his tripod from the locker at the front of the park. Chelsea and I went to set up camp at Franklin’s favorite fireworks spot, while Dad and Michelle took their time getting back to Main Street.
Everyone was in place, though, when the lights dimmed and the show began.
Jiminy Cricket took over from there, regaling us with tales of dreams coming true.
Wishes was as beautiful as ever, it’s just the perfect end to a wonderful day at Magic Kingdom. We took our time leaving the park, stopping to do a little shopping and enjoying the fall decorations (which had multiplied exponentially overnight).
I was torn because I love, love, LOVE fall decorations at Disney, but it was also a smidge painful knowing Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party would be starting just two days after our departure. Sigh.
And even though we wouldn’t be attending a Halloween party this year, we still got to take our yearly photo with the pumpkins on Main Street.
With a LONG day at Magic Kingdom in the books, we headed out.
The Grand Floridian pool looked pretty alluring on this warm, sticky August evening. Maybe we could take a dip?
Nope, flopping exhausted on the bed sound like a better plan.
And with that, it was time for showers and bed. But stay tuned because we have a ton of Frozen Summer Fun coming up next!
